PLYRBOOK is a player-development marketplace for private football coaching in Birmingham. We connect players and parents with vetted, qualified coaches for 1-to-1 and small-group sessions.
The aim is simple: extra coaching that is easy to book, with people you can trust, without the noise of a crowded group session.

These terms apply to your use of the PLYRBOOK waitlist and market-research form made available at plyrbook.com (the “Site”). By submitting the form, you confirm that you have read and agree to this notice. These terms do not constitute the terms of any future marketplace, coaching engagement or paid booking. Separate terms will be issued before any such service is provided.
For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018, the data controller is PLYRBOOK, operating a player-development marketplace project in Birmingham, United Kingdom (“PLYRBOOK”, “we”, “us”). Enquiries regarding this notice may be sent to the official PLYRBOOK contact email published in connection with the Site.
Where you join the waitlist, we may collect and process: your name; email address; mobile telephone number; the capacity in which you submit the form (parent/guardian, player or coach); responses concerning age group, playing or coaching level, interests, preferred location, availability, price expectations and related comments; optional player first name (parents only); optional business or academy name (coaches only); source of referral; and limited technical data such as the page URL and any campaign parameters.
You must not submit special-category data (including data concerning health, ethnicity, religion or biometric identifiers) or identity documents relating to a child. We do not require such information in order to join the waitlist.
We process the data described above in order to administer the waitlist, assess demand for private football coaching in Birmingham, contact you in relation to launch, and, where you submit via the parent or player route, to administer a complimentary player assessment subject to availability. The lawful bases are: (a) your consent, which you may withdraw at any time; and (b) our legitimate interests in establishing and operating the service, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
Where you opt in to optional updates, we will send launch and player-development communications on the basis of consent. You may unsubscribe at any time.
Any complimentary player assessment is offered solely on the parent/player waitlist, is limited to one assessment per player, is subject to availability and is not guaranteed. It does not constitute a medical examination, a safeguarding assessment, a talent guarantee, or a contract for ongoing coaching. Completion of this form does not create any obligation on PLYRBOOK to provide an assessment or any other service.
Submission via the coach route constitutes an expression of interest only. It does not amount to appointment, listing, or any representation that DBS checks, insurance, qualifications or payment arrangements have been completed.
If the relevant player is under 18 years of age, the form must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal data beyond an age band and, where provided by a parent, an optional first name.
Data is stored and reviewed by PLYRBOOK for the purposes set out above. We do not sell personal data. Hosting, form-processing and communications providers engaged by us may process data in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, or a country in respect of which the UK has made an adequacy regulation. Those providers act on our instructions.
Waitlist data will be retained for so long as is reasonably necessary to launch and operate the Birmingham service and to deal with related enquiries, and will thereafter be deleted or irreversibly anonymised, unless a longer period is required by law.
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Association football is a contact sport and involves an inherent risk of injury. Participation in any assessment or session arranged following use of the Site is voluntary. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you accept that risk.
Nothing in this notice excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to the preceding paragraph, PLYRBOOK shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, business, opportunity or data, arising out of or in connection with use of the Site or the waitlist, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise.
Content on the Site is provided for the purpose of registering launch interest only and may be amended at any time without notice. No representation or warranty is given that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
These terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you may have as a consumer.
Effective date: September 2026. This notice may be updated from time to time. The version published on the Site at the date of your submission shall apply.
